Indrajit Roy is a researcher at Hewlett Packard Labs. Indrajit received his Ph.D. in computer science from UT Austin (2010) and his B.Tech. degree from IIT Kanpur.
I led the development of Distributed R, an open source HP project that brings benefits of parallelism to data scientists.
- Links: Distributed R product page, GitHub repository.
- Press: HP Blog, PCWorld, InformationWeek
- I co-organized the Workshop on Distributed Computing in R (2015). Blog article on the workshop.
I have been fortunate to work with very productive interns who also made research enjoyable.
